In early spring, as soon as the competition opens, it's essential to submit an application, whatever the subject you're thinking of applying for. The doctoral school jury meets and draws up a list of eligible candidates, who are informed via ADUM. Shortlisted students then contact the directors of the laboratories of their choice with a posted priority theme, if they have not already done so. Each laboratory interviews the candidates who have applied, and informs the doctoral school jury of its ranking, which draws up the final list of shortlisted candidates, as well as a supplementary list. The doctoral school encourages geographical and thematic mobility, as well as gender parity.
